You might be thinking, “what do I have to do with kids and public schools,” the answer is: Everything. The development of our youngest citizens relies heavily on the community they reside in, and you are an integral role in that community. Your support determines the quality of our community by ensuring ample opportunities exist; parks, recreation, safety, schools, jobs, mentoring, and so much more.
Our schools certainly play a key role in the education and development of our youth, but outside of those buildings, our young citizens also develop based on the community surroundings and offerings.
As a member of the community, you also play a critical role in what our shared future looks like. YOUR voice, YOUR lived experience matters in that work, and it too needs to be heard.
